I just recently wrote a new piece, and I would like some feedback and/or constructive criticism on it.
Thanks. I’ll give you a virtual hug if you actually reply. :]
I laugh so hard when I see you buying into it all. The booze, the drugs, the material things that sustain you. All of it is blinding, like a drape over your eyes. This junk shields you from the true ugliness of the world. But then again, who can blame you? It’s tough down here, real tough, in this bottomless pit that is the truth. Not just anyone can handle it. It requires copious will power to survive it all. It also can take quite a bit out of you.
Think of it like this. Imagine all of the people you love, the material things that you cherish, that you’ve ever had until the present. Pile all of those things into a room with you, a room with no doors or windows; only four walls.
Now, imagine yourself living a remarkable life in that room with those people and things. Suddenly, POOF! A door appears. Slowly, one by one, all of the things that you could ever say you loved, or loved you, start to trickle out through that mysterious door that just appeared out of nowhere one day. Your possessions, your friends, your loves begin to thin out. They dissipate, like the sand on a shore. Before you know it, all of it has left you, in this room, alone, with nothing but four walls and the door to stare at blankly as you wonder where it all went wrong.
Do you know what that is? That’s truth. See? I told you it’s harsh.
You’re probably by this point wondering why and how that door appeared. Well, I can tell you this much. The door, although I can’t explain it exactly, is what I like to call the next best thing.
Whatever it is, things gravitate towards it. It arouses in people the greed, desire, and selfishness that lay dormant in them. Sometimes, I don’t really think it’s their fault. They can’t really help the fact that they have parasites living inside of them like that. I couldn’t imagine knowing all along that I was infected, and be around others. The risk alone is mortifying!
If I were infected, I would just go ahead and kill myself. I couldn’t stand knowing that I was infected, to risk the lives of the ones I care about, to risk destroying all the things I adore. God forbid I infect them too.
I have absolutely refused, for the entirety of my life, to succumb to the parasites within. That’s why I’ve never walked through that door and out of the room. That’s why I live my life in the bottomless pit that is the truth.
Can’t you see? I’m quarantining myself. I refuse to contribute to the spread of this unquestionably, unmentionably awful disease.
The people in Egypt are under governmental siege. Mubarak regime is banning Facebook, Twitter, and all other popular internet sites Now, the internet are completely blocked in Egypt. Tomorrow the government will block the 3 mobile phone network will be completely blocked.
And there is news that even the phone landlines will be cut tomorrow, to prevent any news agency from following what will happen.
Suez city is already under siege now. The government cut the water supply and electricity, people, including, children and elderly are suffering there now. The patients in hospitals cannot get urgent medical care. The injured protesters are lying in the streets and the riot police are preventing people from helping them. The families of the killed protesters cannot get the bodies of their sons to bury them. This picture is the same in north Saini (El-Sheikh zoyad city) and in western Egypt (Al-salom). The riot police is cracking down on protesters in Ismailia, Alexandria, Fayoum, Shbin Elkoum, and Cairo, the capital, in many neighborhoods across the city.
The government is preparing to crackdown on the protesters in all Egyptian cities. They are using tear gas bombs, rubber and plastic pullets, chemicals like dilutes mustard gas against protesters. Several protesters today have been killed when the armored vehicles of the riot police hit them. Officials in plain clothes carrying blades and knives used to intimidate protesters. Thugs deployed by the Egyptian Ministry of Interior are roaming the streets of Cairo, setting fire on car-wheels as means of black propaganda to demonize protesters and justify police beatings and state torture
All this has been taken place over the past three days during the peaceful demonstrations in Cairo and other cities. Now, with the suspicious silence of the local media and the lack of coverage from the international media, Mubarak and his gang are blocking all the channels that can tell the world about what is happening.
People who call for their freedom need your support and help. Will you give them a hand?
The activists are flooding the net (youtube and other sites) with thousands of pictures and videos showing the riot police firing on armless people. The police started to use ammunition against protesters. 15-year old girl has been injured and another 25 year old man has been shot in the mouth. While nothing of these has appeared in the media, there is more to happen tomorrow. Will you keep silent? Will you keep your mouth shut while seeing all these cruelty and inhumane actions?
We don’t ask for much, just broadcast what is happening

It is breaking my heart to know that this is happening right under our noses. My mom tried to justify what the Egyptian government is doing to me this morning. I couldn’t even look at her.
This is too horrific to not do anything about. Please send this message to your local news. Write them letters to increase coverage of this event. This will not stop until we make it so.
